Daily Routines Every Realtor Should Implement

Want to be the best realtor in your community? Well, in order to become the best realtor it starts with you creating a schedule that you will abide by or else you’re not going to accomplish the things that matter most.

Successful Realtor Daily Routine:

5:00am – 8:00am: (Morning Ritual & Goals Setting)

Join the 5 a.m. Club! It’s free and all you need to do is wake up at 5 in the morning to get the day started.  The first thing that needs to be implemented in the daily schedule is by having a morning ritual. Most people read, meditate or exercise when they wake up to start their day. It gives them a peace of mind to invest in themselves, which will ultimately increase their energy and attitude. After you’re done with your morning rituals, take some time to set daily goals. It’s important to make the daily goals achievable because when you see progress it motivates you to get to the end result. The most successful realtors don’t put daily goals aside and they also don’t take short cuts in getting their things done.

8:00am – 11:00am: (Lead Generating & Farming)

It’s crucial to have a sphere of influences and mentors because you will need guidance throughout your career. Use this time to call your sphere for anything that can help your business such as a new social media platform or even a lead that they may have. As a realtor, it’s important that you farm a community that you want to be an expert at. Be the go-to person of your community of choice and soak up everything you read and hear about what’s going on. When farming the communities, use the information gained and actually educate your audience by posting content about the new updates. People appreciate the time and effort put into valuable content therefore; they will eventually reinvest in you by hiring you as their listing or buyer’s agent.

11:00am – 12:00pm: (Respond)

Take a quick break and respond back to texts, emails and phone calls that were missed during your work time.

12:00pm – 1:00pm: (Lunch)

Have lunch with your friend, co-worker, or clients. This will be a great opportunity to catch up and network because they may have information to offer that you may not have been aware of.

1:00pm – 2:00pm: (Appointment Generator)

The appointment generator is different from the lead generator because this part is where you follow up with potential listing or buying leads that have been already generated. As a realtor, it is good to remember that not everyone is ready to buy a home today but if they’re a hot lead their potential of buying in the near future is high.

2:00pm – 3:00pm (Respond)

Take another quick break and respond back to texts, emails and phone calls that were missed during your work time

3:00pm – 6:00pm (Listing)

In reality, you will not have a listing appointment every single day but if you had one it would be ideal to have it around this time. That’s because you accomplished all the important tasks on your daily schedule. Being consistent with your daily routine will get you more listings.

6:00pm – Sleep (Personal and Family Time)

This is the fun part because you get to decide what’s important enough to add in your daily life. You will notice that after a long day of work, you’re limited to the amount of hours left so you tend to use it more wisely. Family time to me is the most rewarding part of the day because no matter how the day went, they’re always happy and supportive in your daily accomplishments.

This daily routine is to give you an idea of what a successful realtor’s schedule could look like. Make changes to it if it doesn’t suit your schedule and stick to your daily routine to get the best results.
