Turn Your Devices on Airplane Mode

For most people, the distractions they get during work hours mostly come from their electronic devices. These devices are very crucial to a business because it eats so much time from work hours. Make it a daily ritual to put your phone on airplane mode during your most productive hours to avoid any distractions. This may not be possible if you’re working in the real estate market because you’re constantly making phone calls daily but it’s important to set aside your phone during the times you’re not doing anything work related. People don’t notice it but a simple text message can lead you to an extra 15 minutes on your social media accounts.

Take a Minute and Take a Deep Breath

Working in real estate can be very stressful at times because you loss a client, keeping getting denied all day during cold calls or whatever the case may be it is important to take care of yourself first. Try resetting your mind for a quick minute a few times a day to relieve stress that you encounter throughout the day.

Take these easy stress reliever techniques:

  1. Close your eyes relax and sit upright
  2. Focus on your breathing: inhale, exhale; inhale, exhale
  3. Count silently to 10 over and over for up to 10 minutes
